Warehouse Supervisor
This Company is seeking a dynamic and ambitious Warehouse Supervisor to join their team in London, Twickenham. The Company is one of the fastest-growing companies in the Sports Nutrition Industry. The Company has grown rapidly over the last number of years, achieving Fast Growth 50 status for the last two years and last year achieved the Fastest Growing Business to Business in Service 2018. The Company is a business distributing sports nutrition products and operating sports nutrition vending machines across the UK, in a niche sector.
The Warehouse Supervisor will work to achieve and promote a high standard of service and control of the day to day activity of the operating warehouse implementing full stock control measures.
We require a strong Warehouse Supervisor experienced in rapid growth and ready to implement necessary changes in accordance with such growth; delivery against agreed plans but also, using your knowledge and experience to advise the management team against carrying out proposed missteps. Using the output from the Vendman ERP system to improve the efficiency of operating functions is an area of focus systems and project experience will be invaluable.
Ultimately, you should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.
Candidate Requirements:
• Proven work experience as a warehouse supervisor
• Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
• Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
• Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Hands-on experience with warehouse software and databases
• Leadership skills and the ability to manage staff
• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• BS degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration or other relevant subjects would be preferable.
Salary
• Basic salary in range £25k to 30k depending upon experience.
• Forty hours per week, Monday to Friday and any other hours required to fulfil the role to the required high standards.
