Overview
Supreme Recruitment are seeking SEN Teachers for long term assignments at a wonderful Special Needs Primary school based in Feltham. Children are aged 3 – 11 years with severe and profound learning difficulties including those with an additional diagnosis of autism.
We are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic teachers with a real passion for, and commitment to, teaching children with complex learning needs.
Salary: £130 to £190 per day depending on experience
The Role:
- Developing and implementing lessons and work schemes
- Providing a safe and stimulating environment that facilitates learning
- Organising and supervising play and work activities
- Work well with others, including teaching assistants
- Maintaining records
- Monitoring and recording progress
The Person:
- Hold a QTS
- Be creative, patience and have a good sense of humour
- Be confident at supporting students
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Good organisational skills to plan the children’s day and respond to – children’s different needs
- The ability to inspire and enthuse young children
