Supreme Recruitment are currently seeking a strong SEN TA to work one to one at a Primary Special Needs school. September Start. Long-term role.
Salary: £80 to £100 per day
Are you a strong Teaching Assistant who either has experience working in an SLD school or who is quick to learn?
You will need to be proactive and able to get to know the children so you can see them as children first and foremost and best meet their needs, encouraging them to be as independent as possible in all their learning.
You must be willing to do personal care and support the children positively in all situations.
The class where you will be based will have children who can show challenging behaviour.
You must be able to work well in a team and communicate well with adults and children.
The hours are 8.30- 3.45 with a 15-minute morning break and 30 minute lunch break for support staff.
