Residential Support Workers
Supreme Recruitment are currently looking for Residential Support Workers for a Therapeutic Residential home in the Horsham Surrey area.
This therapeutic residential care home take in young boys who have suffered complex trauma leaving them damaged and in need of a supportive nurturing environment to enable them to develop normal, healthy behaviours.
The home provides a high level of nurturing which ensures all the basic needs of the young person are met to the highest standard. This includes providing a home that has a warm and friendly atmosphere where great emphasis is placed on building supportive relationships and positive attachments. High regard is given to monitoring their physical wellbeing to ensuring they are healthy, clothed and well fed.
The residents go to a school run & managed by the home.
The school has been classed as “outstanding” in all categories by OFSTED in November 2013.
Driver & car essential due to rural location.
Purpose of post:
- To provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for young people placed in the home.
- To give support to other staff in the home.
- To follow the daily routine in the home.

- To ensure the provision of a high-quality environment to meet the needs of all children and to abide by the Equal Opportunities Policy.
- To make contact and liaise with external agencies, when appropriate
- To act as an ambassador for the Home and maintain a positive image of its aims and objectives.
- To attend and participate in staff meetings and planning and development days.
- To update training and continued professional development
- To carry out any other duties required.
- To cover in any of the other homes, when required
Rota with sleeps in covering 24/7.
Salary 21.5k to 22.5k + £35 per sleep in.
