The Role – PRU Teacher As the Teacher in this Pupil Referral Unit you will be required to deliver lessons to small classes of around 6-8 students and will be supported by two teaching assistants to help with the management of behaviour during lessons. You must be a very creative, enthusiastic and motivated Teacher that has the ability to tailor your lessons so that all students can participate and engage as well as enjoy your lessons.

You must have a minimum of two years teaching experience in the UK as well as holding QTS or QTLS.

The School – Pupil Referral Unit This opportunity is based in a Pupil Referral Unit that is found in the London borough and caters for students in KS3-KS4 that have been temporarily or permanently excluded from mainstream school and most have behavioural difficulties. The school is based in a multicultural area of London and this PRU make it their goal to improve student’s behaviour, attitude and attendance with a long term aim to transition all students back into mainstream education.
