Overview
Our Nursery is looking for a qualified Early Years Teacher, with at least 1 year’s room leader experience in a preschool room, to join their dynamic and motivated team. They are a small term time Outstanding nursery based in Clapham, with a maximum of 22 children aged 2 – 5 years, 11 children in the lower preschool and 11 children in the Upper. The candidate needs to be a good team player, have great computer and organisational skills and enjoy creating an inspirational curriculum.
- 8:00am – 4:30pm Monday – Friday (full time, term time only)
- Salary: £25,000.00 – £27,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
- NVQ level 4 in childcare or higher & Diploma of Higher Education / EYT (REQUIRED)
The Person
- SENCO Level 3 qualification
- Be aware of the safeguarding skills required to look after young children
- Good level of computer skills
- Able to inspire our pupils with enthusiasm and love of leaning
- Have a sound knowledge of the requirements of the Early Years curriculum
- Able to plan and prepare inspirational activities for pupils of every ability

The nursery will initially require a 30 minute zoom / video interview to talk over the role and the candidates experience. 2 x practical ‘in person’ interviews will then follow on site, one will be half day and one will be full day. We will also require the candidate to create a suitable activity to hold with the children during these practical interviews.
