Duties and Responsibilities

1. PA to Executive Headteacher

  • ● To assist the Executive Headteacher in organising the administrative workload recommending items to be dealt with in order of priority.
    ● Support the Executive Headteacher in meeting deadlines and helping all schools in the Trust achieve ‘Outstanding’.
    ● Maintain the diary for the Executive Headteacher, arranging appointments as appropriate and ensuring that he/she is adequately briefed on matters to be discussed.
    ● Make travel arrangements for the Executive Headteacher and to provide care for visitors, including the provision of refreshments.
    ● Assemble and prepare papers required by the Executive Headteacher to attend meetings, prepare reports, or reply to requests for information.
    ● Handle all confidential correspondence with discretion.
    ● Liaise with senior management concerning priorities, deadlines, policies and procedures.
    ● Ensure the maintenance of clear and effective filing, records and other systems and to keep them updated.
    ● To deal independently with enquiries from all stakeholders in the community, outside agencies, local authority etc. and effectively allocate communication appropriately within the Federation prioritising where necessary and acting as ‘gatekeeper’.
    ● Undertake general administrative and secretarial duties as required.
    ● Arrange meetings and when required, take notes. Ensure that matters arising from meetings are dealt with by the appropriate people within agreed timescales.

Extensive experience of using SIMs.NET
Experience of using SIMs.NET
Extensive knowledge of IT application (MS Office)
Exceptional administration and organisation skills
Ability to complete accurate reports and publication materials with attention to detail
Experience of working in a confidential environment
