Overview
We are looking for a passionate Third in Charge to join a wonderful, well established, family run bilingual Montessori nursery in Hammersmith. The role includes working in partnership with the manager to maintain operational efficiency of the nursery, supporting all staff members and building relationships with parents and children. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build their career and progress to be deputy manager.

Salary: £24,000 to £28,000
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Lead, inspire and role model best practice and high standards of behaviour with the staff team, deliver relevant training to practitioners, and continually reflect on practice to identify and drive continuous improvement to deliver high quality care and education for all children and staff.
- Ensure that the team is providing consistent, stimulating and inspiring activities for the children.
- Assist with the overall responsibility for the day to day management of safeguarding and child protection policies in the nursery.
- Delivery of highest quality Early Childhood practice and experiences for all children in the setting, including those with Special Educational Needs and/or Disability.
- Implement and update Safeguarding policies and procedures and continuously demonstrate, monitor and improve the practices and behaviours that underpin a high performing safety culture.
- Continually work in partnership with staff members, parents and/or carers and other professionals to meet the needs of all children.
Experience & Qualifications
- Full and relevant level 3 qualification or above
- Proven experience of working in early years education settings.
- 12 hours paediatric first aid
- Relevant safeguarding/child protection training

- Relevant safeguarding/child protection training undertaken and a willingness to update training regularly
