Overview
We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and experienced Montessori Room Leader, with at least 1 year’s room leader experience in a preschool room, to work with children in an upper preschool, aged 3 – 5 years. Working with key children, planning activities in line with EYFS and Montessori curriculum, implementing creative methods of teaching, completing reports and observations, ensuring health and safety standards are met, following policies and procedures.
- 8:00am – 4:00pm Monday – Thursday, 8am – 1.30pm Friday (Full time, term time only)
- Salary: £22,000.00 – £24,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
- A minimum of Montessori AMI Diploma is essential. Experience is essential.
The Person:
- You will need to have good computer skills to write up reports, planning and put daily observations up on Tapestry.
- The room is a pack away each day so you must be fit and health to carry out this task.
- You will also interact with parents and update them on their child’s progress.
- Candidates must be highly motivated and enthusiastic.

- We will initially require a 30 minute zoom / video interview to talk over the role and the candidates experience. 2 x practical ‘in person’ interviews will then follow on site, one will be half day and one will be full day. We will also require the candidate to create a suitable activity to hold with the children during these practical interviews.
