Our client is is a growing landlord providing homes in LB Hounslow for households that have faced homelessness and local essential workers.  They are now looking for a Housing Services Manager to join the team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a housing professional with management expertise and a desire to grow a new sector leading LA Company landlord. Establishing something new from a strong performing arrangement, building a team and creating a great quality Landlord.

We are initially looking for an interim 12 month Housing Manager. This post will become permanent and there is the opportunity for progression into the permanent role.

You will have experience in housing management and resident services. This will be in LA or HA context and with a focus on homelessness reduction & also key workers.

Salary: £60,000

The Role

  • Managing a service which delivers a sustainable, supportive and effective tenancy management service to a diverse range of residents. Acting as an internal and external advocate of resident priorities and developing positive relationships with local stakeholders.
  • Providing a lead and oversight of housing allocations (lettings transfers and voids).
  • Leading and motivating our managing agent, stakeholders, LB Hounslow and staff to ensure that residents receive a great service. And, when there are service challenges, these are dealt with quickly and positively.
  • Ensuring high standards of performance and positive outcomes through effective monitoring and support. This includes investigation of complaints and improving services from lessons learnt.
  • Working closely with the property services manager and development team to ensure the delivery of quality homes for our residents.
  • Promoting and leading resident involvement activities. Including arranging regular tenant meetings and community events. Also, delivering our agreed social value programme.
  • Contributing to team and departmental work plans, policy and service reviews, corporate strategies and projects through preparation of reports and positive participation in working groups, project boards and other corporate activities.
  • Demonstrating commitment and adherence to our diversity, inclusion and health & safety policies.
