We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Teacher of History to teach up to GCSE to A Level. We invite applications from motivated individuals who are enthusiastic about inspiring and shaping young minds to join our client’s dynamic faculty.

We are conveniently situated in the north west of the borough with easy access to Central Harrow as well as Hertfordshire, Brent, Hillingdon and Barnet.
Requirements:
- A relevant degree in History or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a proven track record of successful teaching experience in History.
- Ensure curriculum coverage, continuity and progression in History and other humanities subjects up to KS5
- Take a role in developing and implementing strategies to raise achievement in key stage 3
- To assist in improving schemes of work at KS3, KS4 and KS5
- To assist in the departmental data to plan for and evaluate student progress
- To assist in the management of the financial and physical resources of the subject area
- To assist in the management, monitoring, evaluation and development of the work of staff and pupils within the department at regular intervals, with appropriate records kept
- Provide an exemplary role model for staff through teaching, professional knowledge and behaviour
