Overview
Our school is a West London based secondary school and sixth form for boys aged 11 to 18 years old. They have an exciting opportunity for a hardworking, energetic and innovative Teacher of Geography to join their highly successful team of mutually supportive colleagues whose shared purpose is to inspire and challenge all pupils. The opportunity will be to cover maternity leave with immediate start and a years contract from September 2023.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Delivery of KS3 and 4 level geography to mixed ability classes of around 30 students
- Work alongside the head of year to create a stimulating and engaging curriculum
- Formative and summative assessment with bespoke planning to challenge and enthuse every learner
THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL BE:
- Qualified to degree level or more in Geography
- Qualified by PGCE,
- Experienced in KS3, KS4 and KS5
- Excellent role models in teaching and learning
- Ability to plan, maintain and develop outstanding teaching and learning
- A high level of ICT skills and experience of using these in the classroom to enhance learning
- A commitment to all students receiving and outstanding education experience
- The awareness of the need to monitor and support the progress of all students, with timely interventions, is vital
