Overview

We are looking to appoint a Year 3 Teaching Assistant who can support the Teaching and Learning of an eager to learn class at a Primary School in West London.

The Role

The successful Teaching Assistant will get the chance to work in partnership with an experienced Year 3 Class Teacher and get fully involved in lesson planning, preparing resources and delivering lesson content on a 1:1 basis and to small groups.

The Person

  • 2:1 or higher degree grade and excellent A-Level and GCSE grades.
  • Have previous child-centred experience ideally with 4-11 age range.
  • Be dedicated and resilient and able to handle moments of challenge with a positive outlook.
  • Be calm, patient and understanding and passionate about inclusive education.
  • Enjoy making learning fun to inspire, motivate, engage and enthuse pupils.
  • Be willing to contribute to the broader life of the school community.

This Year 3 Teaching Assistant role is perfectly suited to aspiring Primary Teachers who want to gain some more classroom experience prior to submitting their Teacher Training applications.
