Learning Support Assistant – Temporary daily supply

Area: Hounslow, Ealing, Twickenham and surrounding boroughs

About the role:

*Supporting Early Years, Key Stage 1 and 2 children
*Working as a general teaching assistant within the school
*Competent in Phonics, as well as Literacy and Numeracy
*The role will also include aspects in delivery literacy and numeracy intervention sessions, sometimes SAT’s preparation. Therefore, competency across Grammar, Spelling and Punctuation is a essential requirement.Minimum requirements: as in qualifications, experience etc.
*CACHE Level 2/3 qualifications
*Excellent Written and Verbal English
*GCSE grade of a minimum C in both Maths and English
*Happy to run SAT’s boosters and 1-2-1 intervention sessions.You must have recent and a minimum of six months’ experience working in primary schools. This experience must be relative to this role. If you do not have this experience, we unfortunately will not be able to continue with your application.

The ideal candidate will have excellent subject knowledge and be able to offer a range of strategies for classroom control. A thorough knowledge of the UK curriculum for Science at GCSE level is required as you will be responsible for implementing subject specific planning and preparation.
The post is suitable for QTS and NQT’s and all applicants must possess a PGCE or equivalent, and have proof of right to work in the UK.
