SEN Co-ordinator – Ealing

We currently have a permanent, full time opportunity for a SEN Co-ordinator in Ealing. The main responsibilities of this role are:

• Psychology Degree

. Planning for support and reviews of High Needs learners and EHCP learners

• Respond to draft requests to the Local Authority for EHCP’s, producing and monitoring funding request forms where necessary

• To coordinate the gathering of information and complete information request from the Local authority linking to the EHCP Assessment process.

• Ensure support for EHCP’s learners is coordinated, allocated, time bound and monitored for quality and progress

• Level 4 SEND related qualification is desirable but not essential. We are looking for the successful candidate to demonstrate the following attributes:

• Self-motivated and committed to continuous improvements to the service provided

• Excellent time management and flexible can do attitude

• Strong team player who is compassionate and patient

• Ability to act calmly in difficult situations and respond professionally to stressful and challenging behaviour

• Ability to listen effectively and communicate at all levels up to A level
