Overview

We are looking to register some caring and experienced Learning Support Staff for our mainstream and SEN Schools.

You will be already well established, experienced and friendly support team. Applicants will need to be able to demonstrate that they have experience and/or the skills to support children in class, including SEN children and provide individual or small group interventions. Able to work one to one with SEN children in mainstream and SEN Schools. This could include direct class support, monitoring progress, keeping records and close and regular liaison with teaching staff, SENCo and external agencies. It would be desirable for one of the applicants to have experience of the Early Years framework.

Applicants will also need to demonstrate that they have good communication skills, are positive, flexible in attitude and approach, as well as being able to use their own initiative. We are particularly looking for applicants who have experience working with children with behaviour difficulties and complex social communication difficulties. Good literacy and maths skills are essential.
